Puff pastry turnovers are an impressive dessert that are quick and easy to make. They match Christmas atmosphere perfectly, thanks to their filling made with apples, almonds, honey and cinnamon.
In our version, we used Vitaina Dehydrated Red Apples, which come from organic and biodynamic farming. This means that our apples are grown respecting nature and the earth, without the use of synthetic mineral fertilizers and chemical pesticides.
In addition, our apples are dehydrated at low temperatures with the patented Soft-DRY® method: that’s why they maintain all their nutritional properties!

For about 15 3cm rounds
- 1 Rectangular puff pastry roll
- 20 g Vitaina Dehydrated Red Apples

Rehydrate the apples with warm water where you have dissolved 2 tablespoons of honey and a tablespoon of cinnamon.

Roll out the puff pastry and brush with the mixture; add the apple slices, finely chopped almonds and cinnamon on top of the puff pastry.
Roll up the puff pastry starting from the short side.
